Mimikyu is my favourite pokemon. This is a shrine dedicated to mimikyu, whom I love very much.
Who is Mimikyu?
Mimikyu is #778, a ghost-fairy pokemon introduced in Generation VII (Alola)! While I can't find the original video, now, this song is what introduced me to my favourite pokemon. Mimikyu shares that while it's not pikachu, it disguises itself as pikachu to make friends! Legends say that seeing mimikyu's true form will lead to illness or death, so removing mimikyu's disguise is a no-go! While battling, mimikyu's disguise acts as a shield. The first hit of every battle will bust mimikyu's disguise, leaving mimikyu's head lolling to the side!
There are a few mimikyu present in the anime! The first is Team Rocket Jessie's Mimikyu! They are quite mischevious and utterly annoyed by pikachu, helping them to fit in well with Team Rocket! Mimikyu is Jessie's 12th pokemon and a great addition to the team. In fact, due to mimikyu's typing and disguise, it presents itself as a powerful foe for both Meowth and Pikachu. Frequently, mimikyu is called into battle, and even loses their disguise at one point!

Mimi-tan, or Mimikins, is the shiny mimikyu belonging to Acerola. Mimikins wears a flower and I love them very much.

I have to open up my Alola game to get a good idea but I have tons of Mimikyus. I'm a mimikyu collector actually. I love wonder trading and getting mimikyu from other countries! Still, I search endlessly for my shiny mimikyu.
